Woodturning is a form of woodworking that is used to create wooden objects on a lathe. Woodturning differs from most other forms of woodworking in that the wood is moving while a stationary tool is used to cut and shape it. Many intricate shapes and designs can be made by turning wood.
We are limited in the number of wood turners we can acommodate.
We have separate sessions for total beginners, skill developers and experienced turners who want to work on projects of
their own. We have several turners in our group who can show you how to get started and who can help you with special
techniques you might want to proceed further in the craft.
If you are intersted in wood turning email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or alternatively come along in person on a Wednesday evening at 7pm.
